Job Overview

We are seeking a talented Electronics Hardware Design Engineer to join our diverse team in creating unique solutions for complex problems.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is between $72,150.00 and $130,425.00 per year.

Key Responsibilities

As an Electronics Hardware Design Engineer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Applying conformal coating using automated or manual dispensing methods
  • Designing and implementing coatings using both automated machines and/or manual processes on PCBA's or subassemblies
  • Conducting trials and experimentations to support customer requirements, engineering, production, and R&D activities
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in engineering (or a science or technical discipline) from an accredited university with 4 years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in Conformal Coating processes and equipment, preferably with Asymtek, PVA, SCS, automated coating machines
  • Ability to provide Rough Order of Magnitude (ROM) estimates, Basis of Estimate (BOE) documents, and other documents used to support proposal efforts
  • Experience with Costpoint Material Planning software and/or Agile product lifecycle management software
  • Strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently
Preferred Qualifications

Prior experience in manufacturing engineering on programs designing and building electronic hardware to government specifications is highly desirable.

Additional qualifications include experience with software that maintains bills of materials, electronics used on launch vehicles, targets, or missile components, and production of cable harnesses, electronics, and electromechanical assemblies.

Current or prior certification to IPC/WHMA-A-610 & J-STD-001 is also preferred.
