About the Role:The Addictions Counselor 1 provides counseling services to clients with substance use disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of addiction and its effects on individuals and families.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients
- Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the needs of clients
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the level of care needed by clients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Document client progress and maintain accurate records
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current registration as a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in New York State

- The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
