Job Title: Hourly Addictions Counselor 1

About the Role:

The Addictions Counselor 1 provides counseling services to clients with substance use disorders. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of addiction and its effects on individuals and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individual and group counseling sessions to clients
  • Develop and implement treatment plans to meet the needs of clients
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine the level of care needed by clients
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Document client progress and maintain accurate records
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A current registration as a Credentialed Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Counselor (CASAC) in New York State
