We are seeking an experienced Line Cook to join our team at Daskk Hotels & Resorts Orlando. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking food to the highest standards, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Food Preparation: Inspect and clean food preparation areas, equipment, and other appropriate areas. Ensure all food products are fresh and store food and supplies in the proper storage areas.
  • Cooking and Grilling: Grill, cook, and fry foods to order, and complete orders from steam tables and placing the food on plates.
  • Food Safety and Sanitation: Maintain sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas, including proper handling and storage of food and equipment.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and service.
  • Stocking and Inventory: Stock pantry, walk-in, refrigerator/freezer with food items when orders are delivered, and perform other related and unrelated tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: Previous line cook experience required.
  • Physical Demands: Requires standing for extended periods, walking, pushing, lifting up to 25 pounds, bending and reaching, kneeling, or crouching. Must be able to push and pull carts and equipment weighing up to 100 lbs.
