Key Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers, answering questions, and offering solutions to meet their needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including the deli and prepared foods areas, to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers.
  • Prepare and package products according to established standards and quality goals, including slicing, cutting, and weighing products.
  • Support the service counter by answering customer questions, handling transactions, and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Develop product knowledge in various areas of the department to provide customers with informed recommendations and suggestions.
  • Perform all assigned cleaning functions in accordance with company policy to maintain a clean and safe store environment.
  • Assist in training other associates and perform other functions as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Delightful customer service skills and a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask with ease.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with colleagues and management.
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new products, procedures, and technologies.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 15 pounds frequently and up to 40 pounds occasionally, and to stand for long periods of time.
