Camp Director

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Camp Director - Youth Program Coordinator to join our team at Life Time. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the overall direction, organization, and supervision of our Summer Camp programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor counselors to ensure they are engaging campers in fun and challenging activities
• Develop and implement daily activity schedules, field trips, and staff schedules in accordance with state and federal guidelines
• Collaborate with the Kids Manager to promote and sell Kids Activities programs to members, increasing revenue and participation
• Manage summer camp inventory and order supplies as needed
• Provide training and performance feedback to staff, ensuring a positive and inclusive environment for campers and staff alike

Requirements

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• 1 year of summer camp counselor experience
• First Aid Certification
• Infant/Child and Adult CPR/AED certification
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively

Preferred Qualifications

• Summer camp supervisor experience
