Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Front Desk Receptionist to join our team at Total Care Services. As a Front Desk Receptionist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our patients, handling phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer phone calls and respond to patient inquiries
- Schedule appointments and manage patient flow
- Verify patient insurance and collect necessary information
- Process patient paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Interact with patients regarding collection of funds for current and past due amounts
- Balance cash drawer daily and maintain a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a medical front office setting
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
- Basic computer skills and experience with EMR systems
- High school diploma or equivalent required
Working Conditions:
This position requires the ability to sit for long periods, minimal lifting, and occasional exposure to sick patients. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet to moderate.
Supervision:
This position reports to the Office/HR Manager, Clinical Director, and Medical Doctor.
