POSITION SUMMARY:
As the Assistant General Manager, you will serve as the right hand to the General Manager, playing a crucial role in nurturing a culture of learning and growth for both our Coaches and Families. You will also be responsible for achieving key business objectives, including driving sales performance and reducing member turnover. The ideal candidate is a charismatic and approachable leader, committed to providing an outstanding experience for children, families, and team members alike.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Center Operations:
- Lead by Example: Assist in overseeing daily operations, ensuring the center is well-maintained and organized.
- Build Community: Establish strong connections with families and enhance the KidStrong community.
- Develop the Team: Promote a coaching culture and facilitate the professional growth of your coaching staff.
- Deliver with Passion: Implement our distinctive curriculum focused on cognitive, physical, and character development for children aged 15 months to 11 years.
- Engage with Prospects: Collaborate with the General Manager to reach out to potential clients and expand the center's membership.
- Foster Community Engagement: Interact daily with members and prospects, and participate in local events to promote the KidStrong experience.
We are looking for candidates who possess the following attributes:
- Experience in working with or coaching children, ideally within the 1-11 age range.
- A genuine passion for child development.
- Excellent communication skills for engaging with both children and parents.
- A positive and energetic demeanor.
- Prior management experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
- CPR, First Aid, and AED certification (or willingness to obtain certification).
- Ability to thrive in a physically active environment.
- Work in a vibrant, energetic, and supportive atmosphere.
- Make a significant impact in the lives of children daily.
