  • Entity Formation: Form entities with the Secretary of State office and maintain corporate minutes, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Research: Conduct basic research of local and state rules, federal statutes, and IRS authority, providing summaries to supervising attorneys to inform decision-making.
Qualifications:
  • A BA or BS degree is strongly preferred; an Associate's degree or paralegal certificate with eight years of comparable experience is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for success in this role.
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational abilities are necessary to manage multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and tax preparation software (e.g., EstateWorks, Gems) is required.
