Rady Children's Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Pediatric Advanced Care Specialist to join our medical team. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert care to medically complex patients in the Pediatric Medical Unit.

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $61,300 and $91,950 per year, based on industry standards and qualifications.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Patient Care: You will act as a valuable resource for patients and families, providing specialized planning and coordination of care.
  • Research and Best Practices: You will stay up-to-date with the latest developments in pediatric acute care and integrate evidence-based findings into patient care.
  • Bedside Support: You will maintain your clinical skills by serving as a hands-on resource at the bedside.
  • Mentorship and Education: You will play a vital role in supporting and mentoring new staff, including recent nursing graduates and new to pediatric nurses.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Master's Degree in Nursing
  • 2 years of experience in pediatric nursing
  • A current California RN License
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist Certification
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers, issued by AHA
