About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal UX Designer to join our Risk Technology UX Design team at Walmart Global Tech. As a key member of our UX team, you will be responsible for designing digital products that provide exceptional experiences for Walmart associates.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design digital products that enhance user capabilities, improve efficiency, and assist colleagues in making data-informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Business, and Engineering, to advocate for the value of UX and ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct UX discovery, validate use cases, map information architecture, and present insights to stakeholders.
  • Translate use cases into wireframes and prototypes in Figma, applying Walmart's design system.
  • Create hand-off documentation for engineers.
Requirements
  • Advanced knowledge of UX/UI fundamentals, including written, verbal, and visual communication.
  • Advanced knowledge of Figma and working knowledge of design systems.
  • Proven research efforts for complex programs.
  • Desire to move with speed, coupled with a desire to provide quality.
  • Basic graphic design skills, including the ability to draw artistically pleasing vector images.
  • Strong communication (written, verbal, and visual) and collaboration skills.
  • Highly collaborative, curious, and intentional.
  • Relentless problem solver.
