Position Title: Pastry Cook

Compensation: Competitive pay starting at $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary: The Pastry Cook is responsible for creating, planning, and overseeing the daily production of high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the daily production and distribution of all pastries, desserts, and baked goods.
  • Ensure adherence to recipes and standards while managing food costs and preparing appropriate quantities based on production needs.
  • Maintain proper food handling, presentation, portion control, and serving temperatures.
  • Monitor and uphold the cleanliness and sanitation of the pastry kitchen and equipment, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and corporate regulations.
  • Oversee hourly kitchen and pastry staff, including interviewing, scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
  • Assist in planning and implementing seasonal menus.
  • Order and manage pastry supplies to maintain optimal inventory levels.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
