Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Assume responsibility for all aspects of the donor center when the Center Manager is not present.
  • Develop and implement strategies to stimulate employee morale and productivity.
  • Collaborate with Training and Quality staff to ensure training and quality goals are met.
  • Coach and lead employees through effective feedback and performance management.
  • Monitor and evaluate operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Oversee personnel functions, including hiring, training, and disciplinary actions.
  • Direct the training activities of production employees.
  • Review and approve employee schedules to accommodate donor cycles.
  • Determine inventory levels and compile orders to vendors.
  • Ensure the facility is maintained in a clean and safe condition.
  • Oversee plasma shipments and equipment failures.
  • Construct and submit timely and accurate reports.
  • Develop and implement active donor recruitment advertising campaigns.
  • Maintain thorough familiarity with state and federal regulations and ensure compliance.
  • Direct key personnel in donor selection, plasma collection, and manufacturing records.
  • Control center donor funds and ensure accurate financial records.
  • Minimize center liability through risk management review and investigation of unsafe situations.
  • Direct and monitor the performance of outside vendors.
  • Review and monitor special projects for accuracy and timely completion.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field, such as Science, Business, Nursing, or Finance.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
