Compensation:
Competitive hourly rate of $30-33, along with a $1,000 Sign-On Bonus.
Work Schedule:
Part-Time positions available for day, evening, and overnight shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with the self-administration of prescribed medications, ensuring compliance with individual care records.
- Organize medication carts for efficiency during medication distribution.
- Maintain medication inventory, monitor expiration dates, and adhere to proper storage and disposal protocols.
- Evaluate medication administration and communicate any concerns to the Director of Nursing.
- Ensure accuracy in resident medication records and maintain confidentiality.
- Support the Director of Nursing in scheduling and following up on physician appointments.
- Respond to emergency situations and perform first aid or CPR as necessary.
- Participate in the assessment of resident needs and recommend adjustments to care plans.
- Collaborate with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Lead team members in executing emergency procedures during drills and real events.
- Provide daily updates to the Director of Nursing regarding community and resident conditions.
- Engage in ongoing professional development activities.
- Report any signs of elder abuse or neglect as per company policies.
Qualifications:
- Valid LPN license.
- Minimum of three years of experience in a similar role, preferably in retirement living or home care.
- High school diploma required; college degree preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with individuals of all ages and abilities.
- Ability to read, write, and follow instructions in English.
- Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and evenings.
- Good physical and mental health to perform assigned duties.
- Recent health screening confirming freedom from pulmonary tuberculosis.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check in Virginia.
Mental and Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand for extended periods, walk distances, lift over 25 pounds, and maintain composure in stressful situations.
