Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at DDCaz. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading and training our kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences to our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation.
  • Assist in menu planning, costing, and inventory management to optimize food costs and menu offerings.
  • Supervise and coordinate food preparation and presentation for banquets, buffets, and special events.
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff adhere to high standards of sanitation, safety, and food handling procedures.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and guest satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new menu items and culinary concepts.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; culinary degree or certification preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or equivalent experience in a high-volume kitchen.
  • Proven leadership and training skills, with the ability to motivate and develop team members.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
