Job Title: Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery

HCA MidAmerica Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery team at Research Medical Center in Kansas City, Missouri.

About the Role:

As a Labor and Delivery Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to expectant mothers and their families. You will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive maternal-fetal nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and follow established protocols for patient care.
  • Collaborate with obstetricians, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Participate in emergency situations, such as obstetric emergencies, and respond to critical situations with confidence and expertise.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements:
  • Current RN licensure in the state of Missouri.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification within 90 days of hire.
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within 90 days of hire.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery or a related field.
