Nurse Practitioner

To provide exceptional nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, our team seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room staff. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, collaborating with surgeons and anesthesiologists, and ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough preoperative assessments to identify potential safety risks and develop individualized care plans
Administer medications and anesthesia, following established protocols and guidelines
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to any changes or concerns
Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
Requirements
Current RN license to practice in the State of Connecticut
BLS and ACLS certifications
Associate's degree in nursing or higher
2.5 to 3 years of experience in a surgical setting
Working Conditions
Manual dexterity and fine motor skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Exposure to dirt, odors, and other environmental hazards
