Nurse Practitioner

Nuvance Health is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing direct and indirect nursing care to patients, including physical assessments, medication administration, and patient education.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough physical assessments of patients to identify potential safety risks and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications safely and effectively, following hospital policies and procedures.
- Provide patient education and support to promote healthy behaviors and outcomes.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry advancements.
Requirements:
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing.
- Current RN licensure in the state of Connecticut or New York.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- ACLS, PALS, or ENPC certification, depending on unit requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a hospital setting, with frequent exposure to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- May be required to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- May be exposed to infectious diseases, hazardous materials, and other occupational risks.
