Cardiac Care Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Cardiac & Pulmonary department at Memorial Hermann Health System. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience in cardiac care in an acute care or clinic setting.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team.
- Conduct nursing assessments, assist with exams and treatment, patient education, and maintenance of medical records.
- Develop and implement discharge and/or transfer plans, ensuring safe and efficient care to patients.
- Participate in a systemic, interdisciplinary, and ongoing evaluation of programs, process improvement, and desired client-centered outcomes.
- Adhere to all regulatory and Texas Board of Nursing standards, ensuring a safe and compassionate environment for patients and staff.
- Current State of Texas license or temporary/compact license to practice professional nursing.
- Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
- Additional certifications may be required based on discipline and/or nursing unit requirements.
