The Assistant Director of Health Services is a key member of our nursing team, responsible for assisting the Director of Health Services in planning, organizing, and directing the day-to-day functions of the Nursing Service Department. This role requires a strong understanding of healthcare regulations and a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with the Director of Health Services to select, retain, develop, and lead the clinical team.
- Assist in coordinating nursing and ancillary services with other department leaders to ensure continuity of care.
- Implement and maintain our clinical staffing model.
- Participate in the Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) program.
- Prepare for facility surveys and accreditation programs.
- Perform administrative duties, including completing medical forms and reports.
- Provide direct nursing care as needed, including on-call duties.
- Associate Degree in Nursing
- 0-1 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- Current, valid state RN license
- Current, valid CPR certification
This role requires the ability to sit, stand, bend, reach, stretch, stoop, walk, and move intermittently during working hours. The ability to lift at least 50lbs is also required.
