Job Summary

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team at Bay Haven. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities and mental health conditions to live independently and participate fully in their communities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Encourage positive relationships and promote independence in individuals we support
  • Transport individuals to community activities and participate in events
  • Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities
  • Administer medications and monitor health
  • Cook and prepare meals, and provide dietary support
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid State of Michigan driver's license preferred
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs
  • Ability to pass background checks
  • Ability to become certified in CPR/First Aid
  • Possess basic computer skills
