Job Title: Stationary Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Stationary Engineer to join our team at Skookum Aerospace Manufacturing. As a Stationary Engineer, you will be responsible for repairing and troubleshooting steam and/or Compressed Air Systems malfunctions, including water treatment systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and perform preventative maintenance on boilers, air compressors, and other Central Plant equipment.
  • Utilize wire diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and drawings to guide repairs and maintenance.
  • Ensure completed work meets quality control standards.
  • Assist with orienting and training new employees and assist in work assignments.
Requirements:
  • Licensed by the State of Maryland as Grade 1 Stationary Engineer required.
  • Must be able to read and understand schematics and blueprints.
  • Maintain professionalism in both appearance and demeanor.
  • Be able to work independently or in a team environment and provide excellent customer service.
Physical Requirements:

Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. The physical demands of this position may be reasonably accommodated for individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions on a case-by-case basis.

  • May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties.
