About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterile Process Technician II to join our team at Porter Hospital. As a key member of our Sterile Processing Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and safety.

Responsibilities
  • Perform decontamination, preparation, sterilization, and distribution of surgical instruments and medical equipment throughout the hospital.
  • Adhere to strict infection control and safety practices during all phases of the process.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless instrument and equipment delivery.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited High School or High School Equivalency program.
  • Sterile Processing certification required or certification within 18 months after hire.
  • BLS required within orientation period.
  • Three year Sterile processing experience preferred.
