Rehabilitation Unit Leader

About the Job:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as the Unit Manager for our Rehabilitation Unit. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the unit, ensuring the highest level of care for our residents, and fostering a positive and supportive work environment.

• Supervise and manage the nursing staff on the Rehabilitation Unit
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care
• Mentor and coach less experienced nurses to enhance their clinical and leadership skills
• Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided on the unit
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless care transitions
• Represent the unit's interests and concerns to upper-level management

• Current RN licensure in the state of New York
• At least 3 years of experience in long-term care, preferably in a leadership role
• Strong computer skills and proficiency in electronic medical records
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
