Position Overview:
The Environmental Services team plays a vital role in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our patients, staff, and visitors. As a Sanitation Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and infection prevention and control within our facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain the appearance of all flooring types within our facilities
- Perform routine housekeeping and cleaning duties, including dry and damp mopping floors, vacuuming rugs and carpets, dusting and sanitizing surfaces in clinical work areas, offices, hallways, restrooms, and patient rooms
- Assist in promoting a quality experience for our patients and their families, staff, and visitors
Requirements:
- 3 years of experience in floor care in an institutional environment, preferably in healthcare
- High School Diploma or Equivalent, preferably with a certification in a related field
Work Schedule:
10:00 AM - 6:30 AM, with every other weekend and as needed call requirements
