RN Unit Manager FT Days M-F with on call rotation

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate RN Unit Manager to join our team at Ciena Healthcare. As a leader in our nursing home, you will be responsible for providing, planning, coordinating, or managing nursing care and health education for our guests.
Responsibilities- Supervise nursing care provided by Registered Nurses (RN), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN), Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and others.
- Review and implement all nursing procedures and systems.
- Assess and evaluate the systems which facilitate the delivery of quality guest care and performance of staff.
- Use a systematic approach in the nursing process to provide individualized nursing care.
- Contribute to the guest assessments (MDS/CAA's) and the development and implementation of a plan of care.
- Evaluate guests' responses to nursing interventions.
- Understand the rational for the use of medications and treatments and correctly administer as needed.
- Current state nursing licensure required.
- Current CPR certification and additional certification in a nursing specialty desired.
- Management or supervisor experience in long-term care or geriatric nursing preferred.
