Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist

We are seeking a highly skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist to join our team at NYU Langone Health's Tisch Hospital in Manhattan. As a CRNA, you will be responsible for administering anesthesia under the supervision of an Attending Anesthesiologist, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of care to our patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer anesthesia under the supervision of the Attending Anesthesiologist, utilizing local, inhalation, intravenous, and other anesthetics as prescribed.
- Institute resuscitative procedures throughout the hospital, including the recovery room, and be available at all times while on duty.
- Perform Complete Pre-Anesthetic Assessment, including laboratory data, patient history, and physical examination, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Prepare for case management by assembling essential equipment, ensuring its readiness and proper storage.
- Develop a plan of care based on assessment, interpretation, and anticipated procedure, recognizing patient difficulties and communicating effectively with the Attending.
- Manage anesthesia competently, demonstrating safe and comfortable technical ability, recognizing problems, and taking corrective action as needed.
- Provide competent post-anesthetic management, verifying patient identity, maintaining airway, and ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- CRNA-Certified RN Anesthetist license, obtained within a year of hire.
- Masters Degree - CRNA program.
- Current NYS RN License, CRNA Certification, ACLS, PALS certification, and NYS Infection Control Certificate.
