Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and supervision to children enrolled in the After School Program, ensuring their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Maintain a clean and organized environment, setting up rooms and areas for various activities such as snack times, naps, games, and arts and crafts.
  • Engage with children through play, promoting social, emotional, and cognitive development.
  • Record daily observations and notes on each child's progress, highlighting their strengths and areas for growth.
  • Support children with personal hygiene needs, including soiled clothing, washing hands, and assisting with toileting.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and supportive team environment.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • AED and First Aid Certification preferred.
  • Experience working with school-aged children, preferably in a group setting.
