Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic After-School Program Assistant to join our team at St. Anthony School of M. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and educational learning environment for young children, implementing the program curriculum, and leading daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the school principal to develop and implement engaging educational enrichment programs that support student learning experiences.
  • Develop and maintain effective working relationships with school staff, including teachers, custodians, and food service personnel.
  • Assist the principal in addressing the ongoing needs of students and parents.
  • Implement program procedures to ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
  • Observe, monitor, and participate in children's play activities.
  • Promote a safe and healthy environment based on safety standards.
  • Redirect inappropriate student behaviors and implement the program discipline system.
  • Support the emotional and social development of children.
  • Report concerns and questions regarding the program to the principal.
  • Maintain accurate and organized records, including attendance records and incident reports.
  • Prepare snacks for children and clean up the kitchen and snack area.
  • Assist in cleaning and straightening the room and equipment.
  • Demonstrate professional, ethical, and responsible behavior.
  • Follow COVID-19 protocols.
Qualifications
  1. High School Degree or Equivalent.
  2. A high sense of professionalism.
  3. Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
