Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Staff Pharmacist to join our team at Sam's Club. As a Staff Pharmacist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive patient care to our members by processing and accurately dispensing prescription orders, administering immunizations, and counseling members regarding health care and prescription medication needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process and accurately dispense prescription orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Administer immunizations and provide counseling to members regarding health care and prescription medication needs.
  • Model and enforce proper member service approaches and techniques to ensure member needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved within company guidelines and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with company and legal policies, procedures, and regulations for assigned areas by analyzing and interpreting reports, implementing and monitoring loss prevention and safety controls, and providing direction and guidance on executing company programs and strategic initiatives.
  • Maintain confidential information, documentation, and assigned records as required by company policies and local, state, and federal guidelines.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have a BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree or equivalent FPGEC (NABP), a pharmacy license (by job entry date), and completion of an ACPE accredited immunization training program.
