Job Title: Construction Superintendent

William Charles Construction, a MasTec Company, is seeking a highly skilled Construction Superintendent to join their team in Springfield, IL. As a key member of our construction team, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend pre-job meetings and review project scopes with the Project Manager and Area Manager
  • Set up job sites, review union contracts, and ensure all necessary materials and equipment are on site
  • Communicate effectively with IDOT, inspectors, subcontractors, and owners to ensure smooth project execution
  • Supervise on-site employees, ensure compliance with OSHA standards, and maintain a safe working environment
  • Coordinate subcontractor operations, manage local union relationships, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately
Qualifications:
  • Minimum GED or High School Diploma
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Bridge Superintendent or related field
