Responsibilities:
The CIWM serves as a valuable resource for enhancing financial literacy, promoting economic stability, and nurturing future leaders in the financial sector.
The Program Coordinator position does not necessitate prior experience in investment or wealth management. This role focuses on supporting programs tailored for UCI students and the broader community.
This position presents an excellent opportunity for individuals seeking to gain experience in program coordination and event management within a collaborative and dynamic environment.
While prior experience in finance is not mandatory, candidates who are passionate about working with students and the community are highly encouraged to apply.

Total Compensation
In addition to the competitive salary range listed below, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to enhance the employment experience at UCI.

The expected pay range for this position is $25.77 - $29.00 (Hourly).Required:
Proficiency in using personal computers and software applications, including word processing, spreadsheets, and database management. Strong typing and proofreading skills.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer service.
Ability to engage diplomatically with diverse stakeholders, including community leaders, university officials, faculty, and volunteers.
Capacity to present information effectively to large groups.Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information.
Sound judgment in addressing issues and concerns.
Basic analytical skills for researching information and developing reports and proposals.
Strong organizational and administrative capabilities, including foundational program and project management skills.
Fluency in Spanish, both written and spoken.
Demonstrated professionalism in coordinating programs, meetings, grant writing, and other assigned tasks.
Attention to detail and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities effectively.
Experience in organizing and executing events and programs throughout the year.
A bachelor's degree in any discipline.
A valid California driver's license.
A minimum of one year of experience in researching and developing program materials.
A minimum of one year of experience working with a diverse student population, demonstrating a commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
Preferred:
Knowledge of policy analysis techniques.
Familiarity with UCI administrative policies and procedures.
Ability to create presentations and utilize various presentation technologies.
Experience in an educational or university setting.
Professional background in program coordination, event management, or related fields.
Experience with youth summer programs or community outreach efforts.
Ability to maintain positive relationships with community partners.
Experience in managing collaborative projects requiring teamwork.
Proficiency in project management tools such as Asana or similar platforms.
Bilingual skills in Spanish and English.
Special Conditions:
Occasional driving may be required to fulfill job responsibilities.
Reliable transportation and the ability to travel to multiple locations in a single day.
This is a hybrid position, requiring some on-site work each week.
