Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Systems Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Systems Technician, you will be responsible for installing, altering, adding, and repairing electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Electrical System Installation and Maintenance: Perform installation, alterations, additions, and repairs of electrical systems, conductors, and associated materials and equipment.
  • Electrical Equipment Assembly and Testing: Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools.
  • Electrical System Troubleshooting: Locate and diagnose issues in the electrical system or equipment.
  • Circuit Identification and Connection: Identify circuits and connect to network equipment.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Read and interpret maps, instructional manuals, specifications, work site directions, blueprints, and written instructions. Complete required service documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Project Management and Cost Control: Monitor costs for the assigned work in conjunction with the account manager or service manager.
  • Team Leadership and Mentorship: Mentor assigned apprentices. Oversee and instruct on the safe operation of tools and equipment, electrical principles, and applicable codes.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma with a minimum of five years of experience performing similar primary responsibilities.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Possess current/active Driver's License. Proficiency in basic electrical theory and its application to installations. Electrical Journeyman's License, preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Proficiency in mechanical aptitude, mathematical, and English language skills. Maintain a neat and professional image. Wear company-issued shirts, approved work pants, and work boots.
