  • Infection Control: Maintain and use principles of aseptic techniques and infection control standards.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate clinical equipment according to equipment guidelines.
  • Administrative Tasks: Perform time-sensitive delegated tasks, including requests for prescription refills, EHR alerts, and messages.
  • Supply Management: Order, stock, and maintain exam rooms and supply storage areas using par levels of supplies, medications, linens, forms, and equipment.
  • Team Collaboration: Participate in staff meetings and provide constructive input for improvements and solutions.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Experience: Employer may consider applicants based on experience in the medical field and/or other professional industries.
  • Skills: Ability to adjust personal availability according to volume changes and activity surges, adherence to a compliance program and HIPAA standards and policies, and ability to receive and apply constructive input for performance improvement and growth.
Work Environment and Physical Requirements:

Medical office, procedure/exam room and laboratory environment may include exposure to communicable diseases, bloodborne pathogens, biohazards or toxic substances. Daily activities may include standing, walking, sitting, bending and lifting items up to 30 lbs.
