Job Title: Caregiver/CNA/Patient Care Assistant Live-In Position

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Caregiver/CNA/Patient Care Assistant to provide live-in care for an ALS client in the Woodstock area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in caregiving and be able to provide assistance with daily living activities, including light cooking, dressing, and walking.

About the Client

The client is a warm and engaging individual who enjoys going out to eat and has her own car, which can be used during errands. She is incontinent and uses a walker, but will soon require a wheelchair. The client has a strong allergy to perfumes and requires a caregiver who can accommodate this need.

Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily living activities, including light cooking, dressing, and walking
  • Provide transportation to appointments and errands
  • Accompany the client to social events and outings
  • Assist with medication management and reminders
  • Maintain a safe and clean living environment
Requirements
  • Must be 21 or older
  • Yearly TB screening
  • Valid CPR training
  • Clean criminal history
  • Valid driver's license
  • Own transportation with auto insurance
Pay and Benefits

The caregiver will be paid $16/hour and $250/overnight. The position is available for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, with a frequency of 9am-9pm.
