Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Process Specialist plays a crucial role in optimizing industrial operations and manufacturing production. This position involves applying engineering principles to enhance operational efficiency and quality assurance standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Efficiency Analysis: Conduct thorough studies to establish standard production rates and improve overall efficiency.
  • Quality Assurance: Review and ensure compliance with quality assurance standards through worker logs, product processing sheets, and specification sheets.
  • Work Assignment Oversight: Review and approve work assignments based on worker performance, machine capacity, production schedules, and potential delays.
  • Workflow Visualization: Analyze charts, graphs, and diagrams to illustrate workflow, routing, floor layouts, material handling, and machine utilization.
  • Data Evaluation: Evaluate data and reports to identify deviations from established standards and recommend corrective actions.
  • Standard Modification: Propose modifications to existing quality or production standards to optimize quality within equipment capabilities.
  • Process Improvement: Recommend changes to methods of operation, material handling, equipment layout, or other areas to increase production efficiency and improve standards.
Required Qualifications:

    • Expertise in reading and interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
    • Familiarity with engineering software, particularly Computer Aided Design (CAD).
  • Education/Experience:
    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering is required.
    • 8-10 years of relevant experience is required.
