Butcher Block Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Butcher Block Supervisor to join our team at Albertsons Companies. As a key member of our seafood department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of seafood clerks, and ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our seafood products.

• Provide outstanding customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
• Lead and supervise a team of seafood clerks, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure they meet their performance goals.
• Implement and maintain the merchandising program, ensuring that our seafood products are displayed in an attractive and appealing manner.
• Monitor and control inventory levels, ordering supplies and receiving shipments as needed.
• Ensure that all seafood products are handled, stored, and displayed in accordance with state and federal regulations.
• Perform daily temperature checks and maintain accurate records.
• Develop and implement strategies to increase sales and improve customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with other department managers to achieve company goals and objectives.

• 2+ years of experience in a seafood or meat department, with a proven track record of leadership and customer service.
• Strong knowledge of seafood products, including preparation, handling, and storage.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, colleagues, and management.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods of time.
• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
