About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Butcher Block Supervisor to join our team at Albertsons. As a key member of our seafood department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading a team of butcher block clerks, and ensuring the smooth operation of the department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide friendly, courteous, and helpful service to customers
  • Lead and supervise a team of butcher block clerks to ensure optimum staffing patterns and high-quality service
  • Implement and maintain the merchandising program and COOL compliance in the department
  • Train and develop team members to improve their skills and knowledge
  • Manage inventory, orders, and supplies to maintain adequate stock levels
  • Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the department, including the seafood area
  • Perform daily temperature and tare checks, and maintain COOL compliance
  • Monitor inter-office mail and company web page for updated information
  • Adhere to Federal, State, and local laws, as well as safety policies and store rules
Requirements
  • Ability to follow company customer service procedures
  • Demonstrated prior customer service skills and related experience
  • Ability to interact with customers, co-workers, and supervisors
  • Ability to organize and plan, and analyze reports
  • Ability to operate a scale

Working Conditions

The working conditions consist of a temperature-controlled store environment. Occasional exposure to outdoor environment with varying temperatures.
