Job Title: Construction Inspector

About the Role:

The LiRo Group is seeking a skilled Construction Inspector to join our team. As a Construction Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that construction work meets building standards and project specifications.

Responsibilities:

  • Inspect construction work to ensure compliance with building codes and project specifications
  • Inspect materials upon arrival to the job site to ensure compliance
  • Review plans to identify potential violations
  • Follow through on the work from mobilization through completion to ensure satisfactory work is completed
  • Communicate and coordinate with subcontractors and concerned parties
  • Perform resident relocation walk-throughs with tenants
  • Document inspections and report any issues
  • Determine the quality of materials being used throughout the testing


Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering or construction management
  • 6+ years of experience in building construction trades, including residential construction
  • Ability to work weekends when needed
  • Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and procedures
  • Ability to maintain field and office records and perform quantity computations
  • Proficient in Excel
  • Experience reading and interpreting plans and specifications and generating changes to the scope of work as required
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Collaboration with multiple team members and ability to multi-task
  • Ability to safely maneuver around a construction site


What We Offer:

The LiRo Group offers a competitive salary commensurate with experience, a comprehensive benefits package, and a positive work environment. Compensation: Min: $85,000 Max: $100,000. Visa sponsorship is not available for this role. LiRo-Hill is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
