MPCI Underwriter

Chubb is seeking a highly skilled MPCI Underwriter to join our team. As an MPCI Underwriter, you will play a critical role in examining insurance documents, applying underwriting rules, and communicating with agents, policyholders, and other stakeholders.

• Examine insurance documents, including applications, production reports, and acreage reports, to ensure accuracy and compliance with underwriting rules.
• Enter information into the computer system, including policy information, production data, and acreage report data, and update records as necessary.
• Communicate with agents, policyholders, and other stakeholders to obtain information, answer questions, and resolve issues.
• Review and analyze scanned document images and route them to the appropriate work queues.
• Prepare and print various reports and policy forms.
• Assist with training and development of Underwriting Assistants and part-time personnel.

• High school diploma or equivalent required; at least 6 months of experience as an Underwriter Assistant or 1 year of previous crop underwriting experience.
• Ability to learn and understand MPCI program rules and procedures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work well in a team environment and maintain confidentiality.
