The Breast Imaging Specialist is responsible for conducting mammography examinations while ensuring comprehensive patient history collection, thereby delivering precise clinical data to Radiologists.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct mammography examinations
  • Gather patient history and previous imaging reports
  • Execute Quality Control (QC) measures in compliance with FDA/ACR standards
  • Provide imaging assistance across various modalities
  • Manage mammography correspondence
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience (Associate's Degree is preferred)
  • Completion of an accredited Mammography program
  • ARRT (M) certification
  • State licensure, if required
  • CPR Certification
  • Valid state driver's license, if necessary
  • Fulfill initial criteria under MQSA regulations
  • Excellent customer service and organizational abilities
  • Basic proficiency in computer operations
Physical Demands:
  • Exposure to strong magnetic fields and potential infectious agents
  • Capability to sit, stand, walk, and interact with patients
  • Occasional bending, kneeling, climbing, and lifting tasks
