Position Purpose:

The Aircraft and Airport Appearance Agent plays a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of the airline club, adhering to the policies and procedures of both the airline and the company. This position is essential for maintaining a welcoming environment for customers and passengers while delivering friendly and efficient service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Primary Duties:
    • Maintain cleanliness of the entrance and reception areas, including coat room shelves.
    • Polish and clean all surfaces within the club.
    • Dust and sanitize all furniture and ledges.
    • Wash and maintain all glass surfaces, including artwork and dividers.
    • Spot clean furniture, carpets, and walls as necessary.
    • Vacuum floors thoroughly, including under furniture and in closets.
    • Empty, clean, and reline all waste and recycling bins.
    • Sanitize all telephones and their work surfaces.
    • Sweep, mop, and disinfect floors in various areas including kitchens, restrooms, and lobby.
    • Ensure floor drains are disinfected and cleaned.
    • Wipe down all drawing boards in conference rooms.
    • Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and urinals.
    • Wash restroom walls, mirrors, and doors.
    • Remove any graffiti present.
    • Restock all toiletries as needed.
    • Strip and wax floors periodically.
Qualifications:

Required Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 1-2 years of relevant experience in cleaning residential or commercial spaces.

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid US driver's license.
  • Successful completion of a drug screening and a background check.
  • Reliable transportation to ensure punctuality.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Direct interaction with customers and airline personnel to address any issues.
  • Familiarity with various aircraft cleaning requirements.
Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Ability to walk, sit, and stand for extended periods.
  • Capability to reach and clean overhead areas.
  • Safe navigation of stairs with or without carrying items.
  • Frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs. and occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
  • Repetitive bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Walking up and down jet bridge stairs at various angles.
  • Occasional pushing and pulling of equipment.
Work Environment:

This position operates in both a professional office setting and an outdoor airport environment. Employees may be exposed to various weather conditions and noise levels. Flexibility in scheduling is required to meet operational needs.
