We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Veterinary Student Intern to join our Hills Professional Veterinary Affairs team in Kansas City. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced veterinarians and veterinary technicians, gaining valuable experience in the life of a veterinarian working for an animal health company.
**Responsibilities**
As a Veterinary Student Intern, you will be rotating through different areas and departments to get a broad experience in the life of a veterinarian working for an animal health company. You will have the opportunity to work on various projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and learn from many experts in the field.
**Requirements**
To be considered for this role, you must be a second-year veterinary student in good academic standing. You will need to provide a resume and unofficial transcript. We are looking for individuals with strong critical and analytical thinking skills, a willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
**What We Offer**
We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $32.50 USD per hour. In addition to base salary, salaried employees are eligible for annual discretionary bonuses, profit-sharing, and long-term incentives in the form of Restricted Stock Units and/or Stock Options. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, basic life insurance, accidental death & dismemberment, and disability insurance plans.
