Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Catheterization Laboratory Technologist to join our team on a travel assignment. As a Cath Lab Tech, you will be responsible for assisting with cardiovascular procedures, maintaining equipment, and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with cardiovascular procedures, including coronary angiograms and stent placements
- Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, including fluoroscopy machines and ultrasound devices
- Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort
- Collaborate with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and department efficiency
Requirements:
- Current certification as a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist (CRT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a Cath Lab setting
- Strong knowledge of cardiovascular procedures and equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
