Ophthalmology Faculty Position

The National Medical Association is actively seeking qualified candidates for several academic positions in the field of Ophthalmology. We are looking for board-certified or board-eligible ophthalmologists or optometrists to fill roles as Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor based on the candidate's qualifications.
We are particularly interested in individuals who possess an MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree, including OD, in a relevant discipline. The available positions cover various clinical areas of ophthalmology, including:
- Glaucoma
- Uveitis
- Neuro-Ophthalmology
- Retina/Vitreoretina
- Pediatrics
- Oculoplastics
- Cornea
Key Responsibilities:
- Excellence in clinical care and teaching.

Each candidate's academic rank and line will be determined based on their qualifications and experience. We expect candidates for subspecialty searches to have completed relevant fellowships and to demonstrate a commitment to clinical teaching and scholarly activities.
Additionally, candidates for optometry roles should be eligible for a state optometry license and have a proven track record in clinical care or scholarly contributions.
