Job Summary:

The Receiving Clerk performs a vital role in the Receiving area of our store, responsible for stocking merchandise, maintaining inventory control, pricing items, and processing returns.

About This Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Receiving Clerk. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that our store's shelves are fully stocked with the latest products, accurately pricing and labeling merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload trucks, stock merchandise, ticket merchandise, and process returns
  • Maintain Receiving area layout as set by the Corporate Office
  • Interact with other associates in a friendly, positive, and professional manner
  • Keep work area clean, neat, and safe
  • Follow all Company Policies and Procedures
  • Remain knowledgeable of advertised sales

Requirements:

  • Minimum Degree Required: High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Ability to perform simple math (arithmetic, subtraction, multiplication)
  • Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers, and customers
