We are currently seeking motivated individuals for the role of Entry Level Technician, responsible for essential maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, brake services, and multi-point inspections.
Our organization has experienced significant growth, and we aim to ensure that our technicians reap the benefits of this expansion. We provide access to top-tier equipment and tools, along with opportunities to enjoy the surrounding outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, and camping.
Key Responsibilities- Execute assigned tasks on repair orders efficiently and accurately, adhering to dealership and manufacturer standards.
- Promote and sell lubrication services, safety inspections, and related offerings while maintaining accurate records of regular clients.
- Inspect and replenish vehicle fluid levels as necessary.
- Check and adjust tire pressure as required.
- Coordinate with the parts department to procure necessary components.
- Tag and save parts for warranty purposes or customer requests.
- Assess vehicles to identify any additional safety or service needs.
- Communicate promptly with service advisors regarding any changes in repair needs or timelines.
- Document all performed work and recommendations on repair orders.
- Conduct road tests on vehicles.
- Participate in training programs and manufacturer-sponsored events.
- Stay updated on technical bulletins from manufacturers.
- Report any equipment malfunctions to management.
- Ensure vehicles are maintained in a clean condition and report any changes in their appearance.
- Maintain a tidy work area and manage dealership-owned tools responsibly.
- Comply with all relevant regulations, including hazardous waste disposal and safety protocols.
- Operate tools and equipment safely and report any safety concerns immediately.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience- High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training; or a combination of education and experience.
- Ability to read and understand simple instructions and correspondence. Capable of writing basic correspondence and effectively presenting information in small group settings.
- Ability to interpret safety rules and operational manuals.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations and interpret data presented in various formats.
- Ability to apply common sense to follow detailed instructions and solve straightforward problems.
- Valid Driver's License is required.
