Join Our Team as a Volkswagen Brand Technician

As a Volkswagen Brand Technician at Audi Glenwood Springs, you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art service shop, equipped with the latest technology and tools. You will be responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned, in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.

About the Job

The primary responsibilities of this role include:

• Receiving repair orders from the dispatcher and performing work as outlined on the repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnosing the cause of any malfunctions and performing repair.
• Communicating with the parts department to obtain needed parts.
• Saving and tagging parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
• Examining the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
• Notifying the service advisor immediately if additional work outlined is not needed or required.
• Notifying the service advisor immediately if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
• Documenting work performed.
• Road-testing vehicles when required or referring to the test technician.
• Supervising the work of any apprentice technicians as assigned.

What We Offer

As a Volkswagen Brand Technician at Audi Glenwood Springs, you can expect a competitive compensation package, including a base hourly compensation of $25.00 to $50.00, depending on qualifications. Additionally, you may be eligible for a sign-on bonus and our tenure bonus program, which begins at 6 months from hire date, offering up to $3.50 per flat rate hour.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• At least 2-5 years of on-the-job experience as a dealership technician or mechanic.
• ASE certification and/or trade school certification.
• Audi/Volkswagen (or multi) brand experience.
• A strong work ethic and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• The ability to follow directions, willingness to learn, and mentor teammates.
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record.
