We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Private Duty Nurse RN to join our team in Uvalde, TX.

Job Summary

This is a part-time night shift position, requiring 12-hour shifts, 1-2 days per week. As a Private Duty Nurse RN, you will provide one-on-one care to our patients, assisting them with transitioning home from the hospital and providing continuous care to remain at home with their loved ones.

Responsibilities
  • Implement physicians' prescribed plans of care
  • Conduct patient assessments and coordinate care
  • Administer prescribed medication, treatments, and therapies
  • Document care provided in our system of record
  • Teach and train family members on health promotion and disease management
  • Communicate with physicians, clients, family members, and staff on client problems, concerns, and changes in client condition
Requirements
  • Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice
  • CPR certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
  • 6 months prior hands-on nursing experience preferred
  • Reliable transportation
