Ruth & Norman Rales Jewish Family Services is seeking a part-time Certified Behavioral Analyst to join our dedicated team at the Toby and Leon Cooperman Therapy and Resource Center.
This role encompasses a variety of responsibilities, including delivering high-quality and ethical clinical services, fostering positive relationships with clients, families, and fellow professionals, and providing direct behavioral analysis services to children and families both at the Center and in home or school settings as necessary.
The Certified Behavioral Analyst will engage with children aged 0-22 who present with diverse special needs diagnoses and disorders. Utilizing innovative therapeutic methods, including collaborative treatments with other specialists such as Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech-Language Pathologists, the goal is to support children in reaching their fullest potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional ABA services to children with various special needs and their families.
- Conduct assessments, develop and facilitate group sessions, and provide training for parents and professionals.
- Create and implement behavioral treatment plans, offer staff and teacher training, and supervise Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs).
- Provide engaging and informative parent training sessions, both individually and in group formats, along with consultations for local educational institutions.
- Maintain a positive, can-do attitude while thriving in a dynamic and enjoyable work environment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in a relevant field.
- Certification as a BCBA in good standing.
- A minimum of three years' experience in parent training and supervising RBTs.
- Proficient in report writing, treatment planning, data collection, and goal setting.
- Experience working with children across a spectrum of disabilities and special needs.
- Ability to engage comfortably with children of varying needs and abilities.
- Flexibility to accommodate the needs of clients and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication, organization, and time management skills.
