We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Senior Business Analyst to enhance our IT department at Relias. This role is pivotal in advancing IT initiatives through comprehensive business analysis, scrum leadership, and product stewardship.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform in-depth analysis of business operations, systems, and workflows.
  • Collect and document business requirements from various stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into actionable IT specifications and solutions.
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Facilitate workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather requirements.
  • Assume Scrum Master duties for designated teams.
  • Guide teams in Scrum practices and Agile methodologies.
  • Organize and lead Scrum ceremonies, including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
  • Identify and remove obstacles to team progress and escalate issues as necessary.
  • Act as Product Owner for assigned teams.
  • Define and prioritize product backlogs based on business value.
  • Communicate product vision and objectives to development teams.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and gather feedback.
  • Make informed decisions regarding the scope and priorities of development efforts.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, scrum, or product ownership, with a proven record of delivering technology projects.
  • Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is essential.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst in technical projects.
  • Prior experience as a Scrum Master and/or Product Owner is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian tools (e.g., Jira and Confluence).
  • Strong analytical abilities with a keen attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships and collaborating effectively with diverse stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP) and/or Scrum (e.g., CSM, CSPO) is a plus.
